Wednesday's Word

God isn't into making people moral; He is into making people worshippers of Him.

John 4:23
But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him.

Good catch there rusty...I was actually quoting Tyler Johnson...but the end of it [sanctification] isn't the "morality" that our world speaks of...it is so much more.

Reminds me of a Ravi Zacharias quote:

"Jesus didn't come to make bad people good; he came to make dead people live"

Merry Christmas bro!

ummm. I read this way to fast and thought it said he isn't into making people worshippers of Him...And it makes sense to me. He doesn't want moral people those are pharasies, he was people who are alive for Him and by Him.

That quote reminds me of Scriptures that talk about God not caring about sacrifice or burnt offerings but of obedience.
